1. Ooty

Ooty is known for its scenic beauty and picturesque landscape. It was originally established as the summer capital of Madras by the British. Ooty is located in the Nilgiri Mountain range in Tamilnadu. 2. Mount Abu

3. Darjeeling

We all have seen the famous toy train in Hindi movies from the Darjeeling Mountain railways. This toy train travels through the beautiful picturesque hills of Darjeeling. This hill station is located at a height of  6710 feet with a beautiful view of the Himalayan peaks and tea estates.

Some of the main attractions of Darjeeling are historical places, parks and the toy train ride in the tea estates. 4. Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is a popular hill station in south India, which is located in the Palani hill range in Tamilnadu. Some of the main attractions are the green valley view, silent valley view, Kodai lake, pine forest etc.

5. Auli (Uttarakhand)

Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. It is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the northeast region. It is situated at a height of approximately 1550 meters above sea level. 7. Mussoorie

8. Almora

Almora is one of the most popular hill stations in Uttarakhand. Excellent weather combined with the beautiful landscape captivates the heart. It is situated at a height of approx. 5400m above sea level. It is surrounded by beautiful pine and fir trees.

Some of the major attractions are adventure sports like mountain trekking, biking, river rafting and hiking etc. Further many great personalities like Swami Vivekananda and Rabindranath Tagore were captivated by the breathtaking views of this place. Some of the other attractions are the Binsar wildlife sanctuary, Museums, deer parks etc.

9. Manali
