Even in today’s day and age, besan and tumeric face packs are used in many pre-marriage ceremonies, for the bride. Besan or gram flour is used in many natural homemade beauty face packs for treating pimples, blemishes, dark skin, dull or lifeless skin etc.

Today, we will look at some of the easy Homemade Besan Beauty Packs.

1. Besan and Multani Mitti (Fuller Earth) Face pack.

Both besan and Multani Mitti are rich in nutrients. This is a unique combination which helps to enhance the skin. This face pack needs to be applied atleast twice a week for good results. This face pack can be applied on all types of skin i.e. oily skin or combination of oily and normal skin. Multani mitti (Fuller Earth), also called as a cosmetic clay, absorbs the excess oil and impurities from the skin. It helps to cool the skin and clear the pores.

All you need is 2 tsp of Multani Mitti with 1 tsp of besan. Mix it with a little rose water and milk and make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the face and let it dry for around 20 minutes or more. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.

2. Besan and Turmeric Face Pack.

This face pack has been recommended to us by our grandma and our mothers. Everyone at some point in time would have applied this easy face pack.

Turmeric with besan (gram flour) is one of the perfect combinations to help brighten the skin. Turmeric has anti-microbial and antiseptic properties which help in cleansing the skin and preventing acne. This face pack can be easily applied twice a week, for all skin types.

Mix 2-3 tsp of besan (gram flour) with a pinch of turmeric. Add rosewater and a little milk and make it a smooth paste. If you have dry skin then you can add fresh milk cream to it. Apply it on the face and neck and leave it to dry for around 20  minutes to half an hour. Rinse it off to see a lovely bright complexion.

3. Besan and Curd Face pack.

Curd and besan face pack helps to cool and cleanse the skin. The lactic acid present in curds helps in exfoliating the dead skin cells and in brightening up the skin. This face pack is extremely good for acne prone skin and can be applied to all skin types.

Take 2 tablespoons of gram flour (besan) and 2 tsp of fresh curd. Mix it well and apply it on the face. Let it dry for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

4. Besan and Neem Face Pack.

Besan and Neem are a wonderful combination for the skin. The antimicrobial properties of neem clear the acne infections on the skin. Further, the anti-inflammatory properties helps in reducing the swelling on the acne prone skin. This face pack is most used for oily skin or acne prone skin.

Take 1 tbsp of neem powder + 1 tbsp of besan. Mix it with 1 tbsp of yoghurt or rose water. Make a smooth paste and apply it on the face. Wash it off after half an hour. You can use rose water if you do not want to use yoghurt.

5. Besan and Egg white Face Pack.

Besan and Egg white Face pack is good to unclog the pores and tighten the skin. It helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles by rebuilding the skin cells. The skin will become more radiant and firm. This face pack is good for normal and oily skin.

Take 1 egg white. Add 2 tsp of besan and ½ tsp of honey. Mix it well and make a smooth paste. Apply it on the face and neck and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water for best results.

6. Aloe Vera and Besan Face Pack.

Aloe vera is loaded with nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants, which are good for the skin.  Aloe vera helps in soothing and nourishing the skin. This face pack helps in removing sunburn, suntan, dark spots and blemishes. It is good for all types of skin.

Take 1 tbsp of gram flour and add 1 or 2  tsp of fresh aloe vera gel.  Mix it well and make a smooth paste. Apply it on the face and let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash it off to get a clean and smooth skin.

7. Besan and Papaya Face pack.

Papaya helps in exfoliating the skin and removing the dead cells. It clears and unclogs the pores leaving the skin brighter and radiant. Take 5-6 pieces of ripe papaya and add 1 tbsp of besan. Add a little rose water and mash it to make a thick smooth paste. Apply it on the face and neck and wash it off after 10 minutes to see the best results.

These are some of the best besan beauty face packs for the skin. You can also mix besan with various other individual ingredients like tomato, banana, orange, potato, sandalwood powder, cucumber etc. Each ingredient is unique and when mixed with besan brings out a healthy natural face pack.
