Many people know the importance of communication and so we need to take adequate measures to keep the communication channels open amongst family and friends.

It is important to communicate with your spouse, children, brothers, sisters and parents regularly. When you communicate, you strengthen the bond and give new meaning to your relationships.

Every person needs someone who can hear them, talk to them, encourage them and motivate them. It is important to have people around you, whom you can trust to help you during your ups and downs in life. Spend time listening attentively before you offer any advise to others.

2. Invest your valuable time in building relationships.

Good relationships always take time to build and so it is important to invest your precious time in building and strengthening relationships. Take special interest in spending quality time with your loved ones. A family needs to spend time having dinner or saying family prayers together. Family vacations are an important part of bringing close and extended families together.

Every relationship is different. Sit down and think whether you are spending enough time with family members. Sure enough, you will find out who are the neglected members of your family and friends. Take time out to have a weekly date with your spouse or meeting up with your close friends etc. Try and call up your family members or friends who are far away. These are some of the important things that will help you in improving your relationships with family and friends.
