Grandma’s easy home remedies for fast relief Lucy Baxter

Today, we will continue to look at some more Grandmas easy  home remedies for fast relief for  different types of diseases.

Osteoporosis.

Walking and exercising can reduce osteoporosis. Water walking in chest deep water for about 30 minutes, for about 3-4 times a week will also be helpful. Some of the other things that can be done are:

a) Drink dandelion leaf tea.

b) A handful of roasted sesame seeds should be had every morning.

c) Soak almonds in the night. In the morning peel the almonds and blend it with cow’s milk.

 

 Kidney stones.

a) Eat apples regularly.

b) Boil two figs in a cup of water and drink it first thing in the morning.

c) Celery should be part of your regular diet, as it prevents the formation of future stones.

d) Fruits and vegetables like grapes, tomatoes, radish, kidney beans and water melons should form a part of your regular diet.

  Headache.

a) Have powdered cardamom seeds boiled in tea.

b) The juice of 3-4 slices of juice should be mixed in a cup of tea.

c) Apply powdered cinnamon mixed with water on your forehead.

d) Apply freshly peeled-off, ring of lemon on the temple of your forehead.

  Common cough, cold and congestion.

a) Boil ½tsp ajwain alongwith 1 pinch of turmeric powder in half cup of water. After cooling it, add honey and drink the mixture.

b) Inhale the vapours of ajwain boiling in a pan of water.

c) Take 4tbsp of cabbage juice, daily in the morning.

d) Have powdered cinnamon in a glass of boiled water with a pinch of pepper powder and honey.

e) Have hot chicken soup with lots of garlic. Drink lots of herbal teas and vegetable soups.

f) Take 3-4tsps of onion juice with 3-4tsps of honey.

g) Prepare milk tea by adding 1tbsp of pepper powder, a pinch of turmeric, little sugar and a little tea powder in a cup of milk.

h) Gargle with a strong solution of table salt and warm water, two or three times a day.

 Nasal congestion.

Crush a fistful of ajwain and tie it up in a cotton napkin and place it near the pillow while sleeping.

  Sore throat.

a) Take a tsp each of apple cider vinegar and honey alongwith a pinch of cayenne pepper and extracted juice of 1/4th lemon in a cup of hot water. Stir well and drink it 3-4 times a day.

b) Boil a glass of water with cloves, pepper and 1tsp of honey and drink it.

c) Chew a couple of garlic pieces or chew on a couple of basil leaves.

d) Add lemon juice and honey to a glass of hot water and drink it.

e) Cut a lemon piece into 2 pieces. Take one piece and put some salt and black pepper on it. Press it with a knife so that the salt and pepper penetrates deeply into the lemon. Put the lemon on the gas burner and make it warm. Then keep licking the juice of the lemon. Do it 2-3 times a day.

 Body rashes.

a) Apply Aloe Vera gel or pulp in the affected region.

b) You can also apply baking powder on the affected area.

c) Pour a cup of uncooked oatmeal into your bath water and try to immerse your body in this water.

d) Apply plain extra virgin olive oil over the affected part.

  Burns.

a) Fresh Aloe Vera gel from its leaves should be applied on the affected part.

b) Beat the egg white and apply it on the burn area for relief.

c) Apply ice immediately or dip the affected part of your body in chilled water, for about 15 to 20 minutes.

d) Put a slice of onion on the affected part.

e) Apply papaya pulp on the affected part.

f) Lavender oil is very helpful in treating burns.
